Medicals Done in India - Please suggest urgently

Hi All,

i recieved a medical request on Oct 4, 2012. I am currently on vacation in India hence I got medicals done by DMP Malkit Law in Delhi on Oct 8th since I will be staying here for 3 more weeks. However, they told me that the reports will be sent to canadian consulate in Delhi instead of sending directly to Ottawa office in Canada. I did share the medical instructions from CIC but they said we have clear instructions from Candian consulate that medicals should be sent to their local office in Delhi and not to Canada.

Please let me know if someone has faced the same situation? Does this slow down the process and does the local canadian consulate in Delhi take time to forward it to Ottawa office?

Any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Congratulation for medical. Its the general practice to send the medical reports by DMP to local visa office not to Canada. Which ministerial Instruction did you applied MI1, 2 or 3??? Could you share your time line please.

Hi Ssherwani ji,

Me and my husband has done our medical in August 2012 in Australia and my son's medical, we got it done from India on 24th September, as he is living with his grandparents and his DMP also sent the reports to Delhi on 3rd October, so far I learnt from other members, its not gonna be a trouble as all system is centralized but I am still waiting for something to hear from my VO, so far I have not got any information from them....
