Medicals before requested and form IMM 1017

I cant find the IMM 1017 on the CIC website. Is it sent by IRCC when medicals are requested? Is there a form they send when they request it, that we need to bring to the doctor to fill up or the doctor should have everything? Would it be possible to do the medicals before? (I know the site says to wait because they are valid for 12 months only but I just want to know if its possible to do it before)

U cant do it before. U have to wait for the email with the medical request letter. Once u get it u bring that to the doctor

I came Canada on 16 july 2019 and applied outland sponsorship of my son as soon as I arrived.
Meanwhile I also applied for his trv and he got trp for an year. On 15 sept 2019 my son came to canada on basis of trp.

Today I got an email from cic for medical request of given adress in Pakistan. As I applied outland sponsorship
But right now my son is living with me in canada.

What to do now? Should I contact cic for change of address or should I go to my nearest immigration medical center in mississauga for medical examination of my son?
If I should contact cic so how to contact them?

What is on the letter? Is it just an invitation or there's something on it the doctor signs? Is there a form 1017?

U take the letter to the specified panel of physicians (that's listed on the cic website) the doctors know what to do with it. They then submit te medical to cic on your behalf.

IMM1017 is not available on the website.

The only way to do the medical before it is requested is to tell the Panel Physician that it is an upfront medical for a temporary resident app or an economic stream app, not for a spousal sponsorship app.

Change of address can be sent to ircc through webform. If you change his postal address to yours, you can also submit the representative form.

For the medicals, you can go to any physician on the list within 30 days of receiving the letter. Just bring the letter with you to give to the physician.

Thanks a lot. We decided to do it upfront as PA may have to travel and if it falls when they ask for medicals, we prefer not to do it abroad even if possible. We are aware of the warning if travelling abroad and that medical are valid for 12 months. Im just posting here to update once medical are requested just to share our situation.
