Medicals before PCC? Please help

I sent my application without my PCC..Now i received medical request before the PCC request. Does that mean that its possible i would be called for an interview later and present my PCC, or the interview would be waived since i got medical request already and they will just request the PCC later?

My second question is that i already have my PCC (i applied for them after i submitted my application) but they are expired, though they are less than a year old. Can i still send them when PCC are requested or i have to apply for new PCC?

My application was received on 18th June-14.
Medical request was on 16th June-15.
London Visa Office.

Should I wait till they request the pcc or should I just send it? And how does the cover letter look like or what's written on it?
