I applied to extend my parents' stay in Canada and I received an approval/valid visitor record. The letter also advised me to go for Parents' medicals within 30 Days. But my parents are now preparing to leave Canada due to some urgent work back in their home country (India). Is it necessary for them to still undergo medicals as they are leaving now in the next 2 days?

I wrote to CIC via their online web form and explained the same. CIC replied that my parents must undergo medicals.
1) Why should my parents undergo medicals even though they are already on a plane back to India
2) We applied for their extension in Dec, and their initial 6 month period ended in Jan 2018. But the decision from CIC came only in March. So is CIC holding us responsible for having stayed longer than 6 months (Jan2018 to March 2018) and wants us to do medicals since we stayed longer than 6 month?

1, Just ignore email, your parents are no longer in Canada.
