Hi all,
i did the medical test yesterday. Today i got a call from hospital and asked to do the chest x ray again. Has anyone faced to a situation like this ?. I did it again and they took another x rays from different angles. Please advice me what to do.

No need to worry its normal, some times the X-ray result is not clear thats why call you for re x-ray.

normally they call the next day if the x-ray or other tests are not clear due to any technical reason from there side.

Hi,
I did the 2nd x ray also. It was taken from 2 angles. again they have asked to meet the doctor again.
What will be the situation. Has any one came across a thing like this.

Hi,
I went to see the doctor who did the medical test. They wanted to get the opinion from a chest specialist regarding a opacity in my chest right middle zone. So far I have not noticed any illness or symptom. Lung function test also was done & it was normal.
Please share your experience please.

Lung opacity could be due to many reasons, old TB, pneumonia or even a just artifact. Your doctor should have taken chest xray again.
Anyways, if you do not have any past history of lung disease you shouldnt be worried about.
In case , patient has old history of TB, then doctors usually require complete history and certificate from treating doctor if anti-tuberculosis treatment is completed and resolved effectively as TB is considered as communicable disease.

The chest specialist asked to do a chest ct scan, they suspect that it is pleurally based soft tissue density. But I do not have any symptom of that illness. Ct was done yesterday and awaiting for result.

Will this be a problem in medical. Please share if some one has an idea ...

Dont worry, Faith in Allah, InshAllah it will be ok, Keep your fingers crossed, further comments can only be based on CT Scan result...

Hi friends,
Got the CT report & it says (benign finding) that multiple lipomas (fat deposits) which is not harmful. it s like a tumor but it is fat deposits. Some of my family members also have the same thing like this. Will this be a problem to pass the medical ? Please share if you have any idea.

What does this mean?? Does this means they have analysed my medical scenario and has come to a conclusion about the medical status??? Or will they ask further medical tests later...


Please reply me, because as I have browsed through this forum, different answers are appeared to me that I have a big confusion regarding this ECAS status.

It does not mean you have cleared the medicals. The Dmp has only send across your file with the information he got. Now the medical team in Canada will determine whether you need additional tests etc before concluding on their decision.
My advice is to go to a private clinic of your own and re check whether really you have the said problem as some DMP do not show the Xrays and just put through such situations.
I had a friend of mine who went to do medicals. But he had just 2 months before done all his tests including xrays and was declared fit by the private doctor. When he went for the Canadian medicals at the DMP he was told he was not FIT and more tests was required. The Dmp wanted actually some money to clear him as he was not showed his Xrays. He immediately pulled out his reports taken just 2 months back and the DMP had no answer. He was declared fit and currently in Canada.

same here had to do the X-ray twice. But the ECAS status says medical results have been received. What does that mean? Have I cleared the medical test or they will perform further tests? If I have to do further test when do I know it?
