medical while applying in UAE?

Is there a medical test in UAE while applying for canada? If yes, when is it? I mean before applying of visa or after?

There is no medical for a student visa from the UAE as long as you have lived there for the past 6 months

Really??? I have lived here for almost 5 years now I am renewing my visa this Nov and will be applying for Study permit next April 2015.

I saw a lot were doing medicals before submission but I am not sure if they applied in UAE. I also saw in the list of medical exepmted countries and UAE is included.

Can you plz explain step by step procedure after receiving acceptance from uni....thanks
