Medical validity about to Expire

Hey all. I had a questions about the Medical. My medical validity is about to expire in 10 days but it still haven't received the PPR. Will I have to redo my medical after it expires? Or will they extend it considering the delay due to COVID? Has anyone had a similar experience?

At the discretion of the VO. If you are young an healthy there is a very good chance of receiving an extension and not having to repeat.
