medical transcriptionist online course and job???is that a scam

Being a doctor mom of two young kids, I have to stay at home. I just discovered this online course of MT, which can offer me a good survival after few months.

I am yet to meet someone who really did that and enjoying comfortable living . I just read the reviews in CAREER STEP and other forums. I was planning to join CAREER STEp. Anyone who has an idea?

My initial research would suggest that there are a good number of scams in this area.
Can you provide a lot more details about the course and any "promised" job offers?
Do you have to buy or rent any software? How much will it cost you before you see a cent of return?

I think you are very wise to ask around about this...
