Medical tests conducted for immigration

Hi experts.

What are all the medical test that has been conducted for immigration purpose/
i heared does diabetic candidates are being disqualified.

What exactly we need to prepare before medical.
if they reject in medical do we have any chance of appeal.

There are a number of other threads in this forum that cover medical. I just finished mine. They did the following:
X-Ray (no TB)
UriAnalysis (no Kidney disease and no diabetes)
Blood Test (for HIV, STD's I think)
They took my height, weight, blood pressure, and a rudimentary eye-checkup with wearing my contacts.

If you have diabetes, it is not grounds for direct rejection. However you will have more medical tests, so this would take more time and money. If they reject you for communicable diseases, it is pretty much finalized rejection. If they reject you because the cost of your treatment would be a burden to Canada, you can use a lawyer and go to court. This would be very expensive, but you have a decent chance to winning.
