Hello Dear Fellows,

My Father had an accident about 2.5 years ago in which he broke his leg. Now he is almost(90%) recovered but he still uses his walking stick as precaution. Apart from that he is a healthy man and working full time from last 2 years without any assistance of any kind. He has just received his medical exam under family class. I was wondering if his past accident/current state could be a cause for denial in immegration, even though he is self relient. Please give advise or share experience..
Regards,
Jaz.

That won't be a problem. Canada just wants to make sure no one will be a strain on the healthcare system with ongoing conditions or communicable diseases like tuberculosis or sexually transmitted infections.

I'm not sure exactly what they do for the exam since my husband was the one who got it done. I think they just took blood, urine and did a chest xray. If he has the certificate available, it wouldn't hurt to bring it with him but I doubt he'll need it (I'm the type who'd rather be over-prepared than under!)
