Hello Friends,

My wife was diagnosed with active tuberculosis on May 25 2013 and she is undergoing treatment for the past 5 months.

she requires one more month to complete the treatment .Doctor told she is recovering.I am applying for PR visa for me and my wife.

Will this is be an issue during medical examination and PR processing will be delayed.

Thanks in advance.

1. As VIPINPUTHOOR wrote, if there are any signs of TB (active/inactive) on the x-ray - it's the ground for medical inadmissibility. I think inadmissibility of your wife would mean your inadmissibility as well, but you might want to check it. Look for doctor's manual for performing ME, I might have seen a table of conditions and "points" for each condition in it (TB was on the top of that list).

2. There are questions about TB/contact with TB in both an application and during medical exam. You do not want to lie there, because it would be 'misrepresentation'; and if you are caught, you will be banned on entering Canada for 2 years.

P.S. you might want to wait for a reply from more experienced users than me (in case I gave you wrong info)

Hi,
Submitted my PR application yesterday and got a call from the clinic asking when we can get a letter of completion of treatment of TB as i reported having TB during medicals and also told them I just concluded six months of treat, ment and have another two months to go. The clinic I did my medicals told me that was the request from cic. Please how does this affect the processing of my application. Will CIC continue processing or they will keep aside for another two months when that report is ready?

Thanks
