Hi everyone, I have applied for Inland spousal sponsorship in Aug-2018 and received an email stating "The results of your immigration medical examination (IME) indicate that you are required to report to a provincial/territorial public health authority (P/T PHA), as you may have a medical condition considered to be one of public health significance in Canada requiring a medical follow-up referred to assurveillance."
My wife had a history of TB 3 years ago. We disclosed this info when I have applied for my PR in Apr-2017 (I applied under Married, wife not accompanying). We also submitted additional sputum tests in Sep-2017. All the results were fine and I got PR in Dec-2017.
My wife is currently in Canada on visitor visa, she got her work permit too. But we were never asked for additional medical tests nor did we were asked to inform the authorities upon arrival in Canada. We never knew that we were supposed to inform TB medical surveillance upon arrival.
We are now very worried about what this means.
Anyone faced this situation before?
Please help!!!
