Medical stage - Can i renew spouses passport ?

Dear

We are at medical stage and after that will be issued PR visa. My wifes passport will expire in 6 months -- I have heard they give PR visa valid for 1 year.

So should i immediately renew my wifes passport ?

If I do this then should i send this updated information to the London VO, since the last info they have regarding wifes passport is that of the current one ?

I just want to get wifes PRV stamped on NEW PASSPORT

Will all this be ok ?

Well you can get passports renewed at any stage of processing but you MUST inform your VO and also send them photocopies of old and renewed passports .Nothing to worry ,many people do that ,sometimes just before visa stamping.

You can get the passport renewed either before or after your meds but you MUST get the passport renewed BEFORE your visa stamping(or if possible before PPR).
