Hi!

I am applying for permanent residence with my wife as my sponsor and I was wondering if anyone knows what happens regarding my medical checkup if the application takes longer than a year. My case is being handled by the Singapore office and the average processing time is 18 months. I know that the medical results expire after a year, so if I am still waiting for a response when this happens, do I have to get a new medical checkup, and if so, will someone from the office contact me to let me know? I emailed them several months ago and have not had a response.

If anyone has the answer to the question, I would very grateful to hear what it is!

Thanks,

Mark

Hi,

Regarding your query, would like to inform you that you are required to re-take medical exam if it expires and don't hear within a year. Possible reason is your case awaits for back-ground review. Fyi, I'm a duba-based applicant and awaiting for post-medical update over 15 months from London office and only came to know twice that case awaits for background review. Many people are also awaiting like me from dubai. Best of luck....

thanks & regards,

Sayek
