Dear Friends
I had applied for Canadian immigration under FSW program (Dec 2014) and I have reached the stage of medical. The last date of sending my medical and additional documents is 8th August 2015. I had applied myself without a consultant.
I am an Indian Citizen and currently working in Qatar. I was married and and I was separated with my wife 2 years ago and divorce case is with a court in India. While applying for immigration, I had submitted statutory declaration in this regard and also letter from my attorney. I had applied without including my spouse and showed my marital status as legally separated. Now visa Office of Colombo, where my application has been processing has requested me to submit Final Divorce certificate from a court or get the medical and security screening of my wife. Unfortunately, I am unable to do either. Since my divorce case is still with the court and it is likely to take another six months to conclude, I may not be able to submit a divorce document. Apart from that, since I am not in touch with my ex spouse and our relationship is not healthy at all, she is not willing to take medical for this purpose. So I am in deep trouble.
Could anyone please guide me on this matter?
Best Regards
