Hi All,
I received medical and PP request on Feb 23,2011.
I took medical test on 7-March-2011 at a DMP in UK. Before test i enquired whether they would be sending the results to CHC,New Delhi(as this is where i have applied) and they told me they would. But last week when I inquired about it, they told me they have sent it to CHC,London and that the CHC,London would be forwarding the same to New Delhi.
I'm not sure if this is the process to be followed. Will the CHC,London sending my results to CHC,New Delhi? If yes, how do i track that? I sent an on-line inquiry to CHC,London regarding this couple of weeks back but haven't received any reply.
My biggest problem is that my Passport and DD has already been sent to CHC,ND and hence if Medical results wont reach there on time(if at all CHC,London forwards that as told to me by the DMP), i would be unnecessarily waiting here in UK and i wanted to ravel to India in april last week which i cant until i receive my PP.
Can someone advise me on this please? Thanks

A great mistake has been happened from the office of your DMP by sending your medical to London instead of New Delhi. As your file is being processed at CHC New Delhi, your medical will be sent there sooner or later.

At this situation what I suggest you to do is :
1) please inform CHC New Delhi that your medical report was erroneously sent to London office by your DMP. Provide the details from DMP office such as courier tracking number, name of DMP, his address and the date of medical examination.

2) Contact Immigration Section, CHC London and inform them what has happened. You should provide them also your Immigration file number, visa processing office, name, date of birth, nationality, medical date, DMP name with address and the courier tracking number. However, it would not be so easy as we think to get a possible response within a short period.

No mistake was made, for the past year, DMPs are instructed to send the medical result to their Regional Medical Centre rather to the one serving the visa office where the application is. The Visa office then retrieves the results electronically.

Shanthararjk delay is expected since it may take some time for London to forward medicals to Delhi.

Can you kindly share how you managed to send passports to Delhi and how do you plan to get them back after visa stamping.

if it's done as per the process i wont be worried like you mentioned, my medical results will be forwarded. But if it's as per what wilson has mentioned, then i dont know what to do. I already sent an email to CHC,ND telling them about the situation. Also send an online request to CHC,London. The latter was made 2 weeks back and there hasnt been any response yet. For CHC,ND i sent the mail last week.
Thanks PMM,pb55 and Wilson for your responses. If you come across relevant info, pls let me know. Thanks
