Medical results have been received

Hi Friends,

One new line has been added to my ecas status, which says " Medical results have been received "
So should i assume that i have successfully cleared medical exam?

Please suggest. I sincerely thank all the replies in advance.

I think that Ecas status just shows its real meaning, not implies your Medical results are passed.
Please advise more from other friends.

The hospital where i did my medical told me that "In case we find anything wrong in your medical tests, we will call you regarding it within 7 days. And if you do not get a call from our end, then we had sent your medical results to embassy".

The above statement from the hospital is the reason i assumed that my medical results are cleared.

I would really appreciate if someone could provide a valid reasoning for above situation.

Hi Sidhu,

The status "Medical results have been received" means you have PASSED your medicals. If the IHS (Immigration Health Services) approves then only we can see the status updated in ECAS.

Coming to the next point, the PPR may come either before or after DM status. For me, I got my PPR just next day after I saw my DM status.
