Hello there

I got a letter last week saying that my visa is ready to be issued (yay! much faster than expected) as soon as the final payment and medical exam is received.

We made the payment. However I did the medical exam already in January (before sending the application for family sponsorship) and the licensed doctor has sent the results to Canada immigration directly.

Now my question: Do most people wait with the medical exam until the end and therefore it's just a standard letter that went out to me and I can ignore the request for the medical exam? Or do I have to be worried that somehow they didn't receive my medical exam?

Any help is appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Send an email to the embassy with your name and file number on it, explaining you have already done the medical - in January - and asking if it has not been received.
Almost always people send the medical in with the application - a medical request like this is for when the application has taken more than a year and the medical has expired.
