Hi,

I did my medicals on April 16 and the ECAS status still did not show the status "medical received". I called up doctor and they said that the reports have been uploaded few days after the medicals. As per the CIC mail, I should complete my medicals and the report should reach their by May 19 which is one week from now. In this stage, can I email CIC and get a confirmation from CIC about the medical received status or should I just wait?

pls help

Thanks

If 19 is the date , I think you can call or mail I guess !!

They dont give confirmation for any thing. You have to order GCMS to see if ur medicals have been recieved..Mine got updated on ecas after 36 days of being uploaded

What is the GCMS?
There you go: http://cectoolkit.weebly.com/3/post/2014/01/what-does-gcms-stand-for-how-do-i-apply.html
Of course Toby deserves all the credit :)

The status is often updated very late. You can try emailing them and they may or may not answer.

If your doctor has confirmed it then I don't think there's anything to worry about. You can order GCMS in the mean time too.

I agree to update CIC. In my case, I emailed them the same day when the doctor confirmed the upload of the results attaching the info sheets given by doctor and asked CIC to trace the results. They did not replied, but next day, the results was shown in E CAS. Seems it did speed up a bit for me! Anyway, I think it is no harm to update CIC as a reminder.

It would be nice to trace the Medical. The Australian Immigration, lets you log in to eMedical website to track down medical completed or not.

CIC uses the same eMedical system. Yet we have no access to it.
