Dear All,

I have completed medical of myself and my familly. All medicals are cleared except my wife.

I had done her re-medical few days back , because of shadow in lungs.

sputum for AFB ( for TB) is clear after 45 days of report.

The chest physician has done CT scan lungs and suspects Lymphoma, sarcoidosis or Old TB scar.
No confirm diagnosis. because my wife is healthy and have no active complaint.

He is not giving his diagnosis, he want further test ,that may take several weeks.
but deadline of final sending in first week of march is approaching.

I need advice that if in my spouse case if she is diagnosed any problem, my FILE will be refused or they can
give me visa.

Please reply earliest
Thanks

If your wife is refused then you will be automatically refused as well.

Lymphoma, sarcoidosis or Old TB scar, Such diagnosis needs tissue diagnosis i.e. biopsy to confirm, have she
ever had contact with TB patient?

her Brother had TB , he got ATT now fit....he alos had applied for Australia immgration and after re medical ...his medicals are clear.se b

As I am Principal applicant, Suppose if my wife got her report positive then VO can not refuse visa, because see following as per their website

:
pplicants may be denied a Canada Immigration (Permanent Resident) Visa solely on medical grounds, if:

Their condition would endanger the health or safety of the Canadian population at large; or
Their admission might cause excessive demand on existing social or health services provided by the government. *

When determining whether any person is inadmissible on medical grounds, the medical officer is obliged to consider the nature, severity or probable duration of any health impairment from which the person is suffering as well as other factors, such as:

Danger of contagion;
Unpredictable or unusual behaviour that may create a danger to public safety; and
The supply of social or health services that the person may require in Canada and whether the use of such services will deprive Canadian nationals of these services.

* The excessive demand component is waived under the Family Sponsorship category of Canada immigration for the spouse, common-law partner, conjugal partner and dependent children of the Sponsor. The Sponsored person(s) still may be refused if their condition is considered to be a danger to Canadian public health or safety.

In certain circumstances, an individual who does not meet the Canadian medical requirements may be granted a Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) to enter Canada. :

If you have applied as FSW, then any member of family even if not accompanying is found medical inadmissible , your case is refused.

If you have applied for her as family sponsorship, then it is ok.

Looks like its FSW application.

From family history, its looks like it is TB, and if it is found TB, they may ask for treatment, first so that she is no more infectious, b4 grant of visa. This might delay visa.

God forbid, I hope it's not, for any type of cancer, there criteria is if a person is found with cancer like lymphoma, depending on type of lymphoma and stage , if the 5 year survival rate is > 70%, it's ok.

Hi Fren
My MR report also shows that i had some sign of spot in my chest X-ray bcoz of which they had guessed that it could be the sign of TB and they have ticked in 'C' on the MR report. Then after ,i checked in private clinic and found that there is no any such symptom. i forwarded that MR report in NoV 30 2012 but till today there is no any email received from NDVO asking for any testing. But one of my fren whose initial application is 1 month later than me and forwarded his MR in 5th december 2012 has already received DM on his status 2 weeks before.Plz frens share ur views who have such probles and ideas.

I finally decide to go for biopsy ...will be done on 20th March. because thoracic surgeon very busy and got only this date.

The 90 days of period end on 4th march. I had sent emails to CIC lon with CT scan report and
Also sent CSI in 3rd week of Feb but they never replied to my email.

CIC LONDON not replying me and my 90 days period finished means ... should i wait for any email or letter of rejection?

Please comment
