Medical of spouse if he/she is not coming to canada

My wife is not accompanying me to Canada, she doesn't even have a passport yet. I want to know that whether she needs upfront medical or not?

She must be fully included in your application even if she is not accompanying you. She needs to complete a medical, obtain any necessary PCCs and submit all relevant forms and documents.
