MEDICAL ISSUE :(

I have filed my application on 5th Nov & done my medical before application. Unfortunately I had a problem with my medical and the concerned doctor have mailed CHC that I will be under her treatment for 6 months with required medications. However today I've received a letter from High Commission which says "further medical information is required before a decision can be reached. Need repeat medical examination reports on initial medical investigations."

My doc said I won't be able to go within these 6 months treatment. So my GIC is done, Fees is done every required docs have been submitted and CHC is waiting for my final medical report after the treatment.

So my question is what is the pro & the con here. Is there any chances for visa approval after my medical finalizes. I mean like if they are not interested in my file, they wouldn't have ask for my further medicals report.

Please help guys.

Why are you going for 6 months treatment? What medical issue came up in your case??
What did doctor told you about?

Good luck !!

The doc says there is visibly a scare found on my chest x ray and afraid there might be a chances of tuberculosis.
Its hard to understand if it's a clear cut refusal from the embassy or a common procedure to be followed in such diagnosed case. Will they return my passport anytime soon with refusal or keep it with them until my treatment ends.

Damn it, so frustrating.

Excuse me? Doctor can't say like this you have TB without undergoing any other additional tests. A scar can't define TB. Does he asked you go any other tests before giving treatment?

Can you tell me who is your doctor?
and don't worry it ain't any refusal.. Everything will sort out. Its just a standard procedure.

But I think your Doctors are misleading you.

I hope you understood it!!!

I have undergone the skin test procedure & it had shown a little sign, however there was no bacteria seen in my sputum test from reowned laboratory but I have already started my medications & waiting for my three consecutive days sputum test asked by the High Commission which will be out after two months.

I am wondering do I have to reapply after the treatment or do I have to follow up with my IME No.

You must have performed Mantoux test, sometimes its false positive. Skin test doesn't mean you have TB. You CANNOT start treatment, if there is no bacteria shown in your sputum test and CIC is the one who asks you for Treatment. No doctor can do that.

You CANNOT start the treatment until the reports of the Sputum tests given by High commision.

Your doctors are misleading you. After the results of Sputum test, tell your doctor to send your reports to embassy.

Seriously, tell me your whole case from beginning, I think your Panel Doctor is in the way of your career.

Good luck !!!!

Hai,

I too had such problem. I had done pre-medicals on sep 28 for this jan intake. I was going to file for visa on nov 20, but on 18th nov i received a letter from CHC saying i have to consult the same doctor or a listed doctor inorder to process my application. So I consulted the doctor in next day and he said CHC mailed him to re-check my xray analysis. doctor said me there is a white spot in my left lung and that caused enquiry from CHC. so doctor prescribed a CT scan and I had undergone some CT scan process. Then I waited for 7 days for my re-medical report to reach High commission and filed for visa on 25th nov.

2 days ago (dec 9) I received my visa.

I guess their will not be any problem in your case either. Tell the doctor to send your report to High commision

NB: yea, I received response from CHC before filing my visa, I was really tensed. But it helped me so that i didn't experienced any delay after my visa filing

Nothing found. Actually i was having cough at the time of my medicals. So maybe that was the reason behind white spot. They analyzed my lungs in CT scan coz CHC inquired only about it.

CHC had a doubt that i am having tuberculosis when they saw my x-ray film due to the white spot. It was the doctor who decided the CT scan as a method to find out what that white spot is. There was two types of CT scan done on me, intensive and plane, i don't what that mean

Oh okay !!

Well congratulations on your visa.

I think your doctor was nice, but this applicant is suffering, only because of a single scar, they told him to undergo 6 months treatment. That I was telling him. Without additional tests, they can't tell him to go for treatment for TB. That's illegal.

Yea, you are currect. The doctor is misleading the OP. It is just a routine enquiry from CHC medical department. I received the the same word letter as the OP received.

Hi all,

I am also facing an unexpected delay in getting visa. I applied on Oct 18 and did pre-medicals on Sep 30th. After exceeding the normal processing time I did inquiry to CHC and they replied on Nov 21 that they are awaiting my satisfactory medical results and once the same are received the processing of my application would resume. But I checked with the hospital and they informed me that they have already submitted it. Even I had submitted the e-medical slips along with my application. So I replied them with my medical ref number and a scanned copy of my e-medical report.

Any idea why this delay is happening? Is it because they are also reviewing my medical reports and waiting for the decision? If that is the case would that take this much time. I didnt get any other calls or mails from CHC the only response was from the imnigration enquiry for my enquiry request. I checked with the hospital that whether there is any re-medicals for me,, but they are saying nothing is there..

what should i do now.. any suggestions pls

The embassy said I need to get done my Chest X-ray after two months and at the mean time my class will start already, I did the Mantoux test but in sputum no acid or bacteria relating tb was seen so i don't understand why did they already started medications. I have started medications three weeks back and still having it time to time. I have no idea why did they start my medications on basis of what.

I have no clue what to do now, what's going on. I haven't ask for my fee refund yet because I want my medical to be get done and hope for best. I don't know if they will return my passport with refusal letter or if they will not resume my application.
