Hi,
I am trying to extand my mom's visitor visa for another 3 months (so it will be 9 month in total since she entered Canada). Doing it on-line I am going thru questions (survey) to define eligibility but at the end when it lists all application forms and supporting documents it states that:
Medical Insurance Coverage
You must provide proof of medical insurance coverage for one year with a Canadian insurance company (a copy of the insurance certificate or policy).
But we are only going to extand her stay for more 3 month... I played with questions/answers with same result. Why do we need to pay for insurance for one year if she's staying for 3 months... I even called Call Center and they say that we must have chosen Super Visa (or something similar) but no... we chose regular visa... Please, share your knowledge!
Thanks!
