Hi everyone,
Have applied to sponsor the hubster to Canada. We currently live in the UK. While we were living in Peru he had retina detachment in both eyes, and had serious surgery for one. He has extreme myopia.
He went to do his medical exam this morning, and the physician said this could be a problem. He gave him a document requesting copies of diagnosis etc from the hospital. That's been dealt with swiftly thankfully. But now it has me worried. The first time we applied, he was rejected (for another reason, before the retina surgery), and that was devastating for me (and my son who understood what was going on). I don't know if I could go through this again. Want to be prepared mentally!
I did find this. Does this mean that even if they deem his retina/vision problems as an issue, we'd still be okay? Thanks kindly in advance!
Exemptions from inadmissibility on grounds of excessive demand
As per paragraphs R24, R117(g) and R139(4), excessive demand determinations under A38(1)(c) do not apply to:
