We are sitting in the pool at 411 and taking a French test in July to increase points. Hoping to get ITA this year.
But I've been worried, reading about medical inadmissibility for Autistic kids. My son is 6.5 and on the Autism spectrum. He hardly needs any support at all. We homeschool and he is several grade levels ahead in every area (we have a standardized test showing this), and the only support we have is two social groups which are covered by our medical insurance. We are going to end those this year because he isn't getting much out of them and is doing fine.
Is there anything we should be doing now to prepare a case for his needs? Do we just need to wait until we get a letter? Should we consult a lawyer? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
