Medical has been submitted whats next?

My wife applied for spousal sponsorship last February 2021. In July 16,2021 i got medical request and the exam results has been submitted on 2-august 2021. could anyone tell me what are the next steps remaining and how much time it will take to get passport request from IRCC canada. it will be helpful for me if anyone guide me with proper steps thank you.

Waiting. You should assume it will take a year from submission to be approved, and if it's finished early, you can celebrate.

Thank you ...I know its almost 12 month process but atleast there are some steps that IRCC is following right? I just need to know what are the remaining step after medical exam?
