Medical for Super Visa and Sponsorship (parent)

Hello.

Apologies if this question has been answered before.

Can medicals done for super visa applicant be submitted for sponsorship application as well? I sponsored my mother in 2019 and havent received her medical request yet. Tired of waiting, I have decided to apply for her supervisa and will be doing upfront medicals. I am curious if this upfront medical can be used in the sponsorship application whenever she receives the request (assuming its within 1 year of the medical test date).

Would suggest waiting until you get the medical request from the supervisa. You will need the paperwork for the panel physician and waiting until the medical is requested for the supervisa will possibly help your sponsorship application. The later you do the medical, the less chance you'll need to repeat the medical in a year for her sponsorship.

I am applying for the supervisa with the help of a lawyer, and the lawyer advised that upfront medical is a requirement prior to submission. I do understand it will speed up the process for my mother's supervisa application.

However, my concern is that I dont want her to do the medicals again if sponsorship medical request comes along.
