HI, I am sponsoring my wife to canada from india, and as the India specific guide mentions that the medical should be done with the application, we are facing some issue.

Almost every authorized doctor we called in india (delhi) says that they will only submit the results to the Canada High Commission and not give it to you.
In this case, I don't know how we can submit application because we need a file number to give to the doctor so that he can mention who the medical is for when they send it to the embassy.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

They submit the results to CIC electronically and give you a receipt that you include in your application. Your wife calls and makes the appointment and tells them it's an upfront medical for family class sponsorship and brings with her her passport, the fee, and any prescriptions she's taking.

In future post questions on the following link thread:

For your question. NO panel physician will give you the results. They DIRECTLY upload the results to New Delhi office without your file number. This is NORMAL practice. The Doctor will give you a e-medical letter stating that your medicals are completed and you are supposed to send a photocopy of that in your application.

Do the medicals as close to the date that you are going to physically post your application.
