Hi Back in November 21st I received an email from the London Embassy stating that they were looking into the possibility of extending my wife's medical. They asked if she had visited any country or had any minor or major illness since the time of her last medical.

My wife responded back stating no she has not visited any country or had any illnesses since the last medical. We hoped that we would get an extension.

Than today she got an email stating:
The results of initial medical examinations for yourself has expired. In order to provide your application with an updated validity we require following additional medical examination(s) for your self:

* Chest Xray (in DICOM / JPEG format) with report (in PDF)
* Completed MEDICAL REPORT CHEST X-RAY REQUISITION AND REPORT form (Page 5 and 6 of IMM5419) (in PDF)
* Duly completed Re-assessment Form (in PDF/word)

Does this mean the extension was denied?

Also it states in the email to contact PP in 7 days. Does this mean she has to get the medical done in 7 days or simply call to make an appointment in 7 days?

I would say that they are asking you to do another medical.If it says contact then i would say just that to make an appointment. Some PP can not fit you in withing 7 days . My husbands was done with little notice here in Canada but my step son it took over 2 months to get an appointment . We are also applying through London.
