The situation is this:

Canadian wife
Jamaican husband and 1 Jamaican dependant not from our marriage. (both coming to Canada, husband first)

Who HAS to take the medical exam besides my husband and his son?

I understand that if you do NOT have the family undergo a medical then they will not ever be allowed to migrate to Canada. Which is fine in our case, however will our application be rejected if we do not have the other family memebers take the medical exam?

Please help me!

family means spouse and children not parents or siblings. only your husband his son are supposed to go through medical.

Thank you for clarifying this up for me!

While I am in conversation with you, do you know if they allow for frequent long travel, visits into my husbands country while they are processing his PR. (Does canada immigration mind if I can't stay for longer than a couple months here in Canada without flying back to his country.)

Thank you!

if you are a Canadian citizen, you can stay anywhere during the whole process ;) but if you are a PR, you are supposed to stay inside canada for whole process and allowed to go for small trips only.
