Hello everybody,

I have a not so typical question. My husband is a Permanent Resident and we are living right now in Germany. We married last year and are now intending to move to Canada. As he can only apply to sponsor me when he is living IN Canada, I now apply for a Working Holiday Visa so that I can work in Canada for 12 Months. Within these 12 Months my husband will apply to sponsor me so that I will get a Permanent Residence Card as well. As I am a Pharmacy technician here in Germany I would like to work in Canada as a Pharmacy technician as well and therefore I will need to undergo a Medical Examination when I want to work in the Health Sector while beeing on the Working Holiday Visa. My question is now: Can I use the result of this Medical Examination when applying for Permanent Residence later on?

Thank you very much

No, probably not. You will need to undergo a new medical examination for the permanent residence application. You can do that once you're in Canada, though. It will be valid for one year.
