Medical examination

Good day! I am applying for a work permit in Canada which requires a medical examination. I had my medical examination last May 2016, but I plan to arrive in Canada on June 2017. I started my application in CIC. My question is, can I arrive in Canada on June 2017? I learned in their website that the validity of medical examination is only 1 year. Do you have similar experience?

The medical exam is only used to check your health while they process your application. Once your application is approved , you don't have to worry about medical to land in Canada.
