Hi All:
I have 2 lipoma on my back, will this fail my immigration medical examination? I'm so worried. Anyone knows what illness will fail your medical examination? Thanks.

The threshold for determining if you will pose an "excessive demand" is expected medical costs of around $25,000 total over the next 5 years. All I know about lipomas is what I just read on Wikipedia, which says "Usually, treatment of a lipoma is not necessary." Even if treatment is necessary, it would have to be expected to cost more than $25,000 to trigger "excessive demand".

If the DMP has any concerns at all, they may send you to a specialist, but unless the specialist thinks you need treatment that will cost more than $25,000 you should be fine.
