Medical exam was passed but OWP refused just now

I work in Canada (pgwp) and help my husband apply online OWP, here is timeline:

Apply OWP --9,Jan.207
Required for medical exam--7,Mar. 2017
Medical exam passed --12,Mar. 2017
REFUSED OWP--25,Mar. 2017

Couldn't understand why required my husband's medical exam but still refused! Is anyone have same situation?
I'm lost now and don't know what to do.
Please help!

Very sorry to hear about that. You can email them for reconsideration. What reason did they give you for refusal?

Same as most people, family ties, travel history,etc. I just don't know if they wanna refused why need medical request.

They make the decision only once the application is complete, and for application to be complete, medical report should also be submitted.
Before starting new application, email them for reconsideration with some explanation notes. Somewhere in the forum itself I read of a case where they reconsidered it within couple of weeks. Else its another 10 weeks wait with a new application

I think they did mistake because if u have full chance of approval than cic send a medical request so i think u should go for reconsideration and tell your spouse to go nearest MP office (in canada) for followup your application, they have power to follow your application otherwise cic will take long time

Did he applied SOWP OR OWP?

I'm really sorry to hear that.

You are in Canada on a PGWP but are you currently working in a Job with the required NOC code. If so, there shouldn't be any reasons for CIC to refuse the application.
But the reasons they have mentioned doesn't make sense for a work permit application though!

But my husband is no in Canada! this is my first time heard that OWP refused with passed medical exam.

You are in Canada on a PGWP but are you currently working in a Job with the required NOC code. If so, there shouldn't be any reasons for CIC to refuse the application.

that's what I though! my job required NOC code and i have been work here a year. on of reason to refused is "purpose of visit", i could't get it. he is applying for OWP!
i have no ideal now!

When is your PGWP expiring? If there is more than 6 months left on the permit, there should be no grounds for refusal.
Did you show enough funds?

U can also follow your husband application with the help of local MP or Mayor (just try it ) they will help you.
