After receiving an ITA, isn't it advisable to get a Medical Exam done nearest to when I would be submitting the PR application since the validity of a PR is 1 year from the Medical Exam's date? (Assuming I can get an appointment within a week) So that I get maximum time on my PR validity? Or should I get my Medical Exam done at the earliest even if I plan to submit my PR application after a month or so? Any reasons?

Your medical is valid for 1 year. You can take it even before ITA but it is better to wait until you are almost ready to submit so that gives you longer time to actually land.
