My employer and I have had so much confusion over the IMP at POE process!!!

I am a registered nurse therefore need an upfront medical exam. I went to Ottawa for the exam at an e-medical facility and was given a receipt saying I underwent my exam but it clearly says "not complete" since labs were not resulted. What proof do I need to bring to the POE border?! I have called the office and never get a clear answer. If the exam is submitted to the e-medical system, is that good enough? I did not receive a medical certificate of health and the doctor's office says that's not routine with e-medical offices.

I desperately want to work ASAP! I'm awaiting my PR and can't stand being unemployed any longer!

normally if you submitted at an e medical then you should not worry - though it says not complete it proves that if its cic that needs it then they will have access to it on their system- I am not sure about your case but if you wanted your results you should have asked the officers and they would give you your copy after results are ready. from what you have explained, it seems the receipt should do for now..you could always try getting more information...

I requested a copy but was told it would take 10-20 business days to receive it. Instead I was given a receipt (stating "not completed") but they said results would not be submitted to e-medical for 5-10 business days. So once confirmed it was submitted to e-medical I could make the trip to the border?
I want to make sure I have my ducks in a row so I don't waste two days going to and from the border.

Anyone with experience of POE work visas, I'd greatly appreciate any tips or advice!
