Medical exam request with no IME

Hi everyone,
My husband and I got the medical exam request in Feb 28, but there was no IME number on both forms. We didn’t know that it was not normal. So we went to the clinic to do the exam, and the clinic generated IME number for us. Today, March 12, CIC sends a second medical request with all information in the forms (including IME). Of course the numbers do not match. What do I do? I will call the clinic tomorrow to ask but I’m so worried that we have to take the exam again, which is super expensive and time consuming.

Hello, do you have any updates? I have the same problem

We phoned CIC and they told us to send a letter of explaination to enquiry that have the number from the doctor we took our medical exam with to change the IME number. We did so and receive email saying that all documents had been sent, however, they still put a status on our online profile saying that they have not receive the medical result. We will have to call them again to ask. I feel like their communication between departments is very bad as files aren’t link together properly. And that causes delay as well as so many heart attacks and depress for us .

We pass the medical exam after 2 months of pain in the a** and a lot of phone calls.
