I have applied to sponsor both my parents to Canada in 2018. The application was accepted and my mother (primary applicant) has received an email, along with the IMM1017, indicating that she should go for a medical exam and submit the results within the next 30 days. The IMM1017 received includes only her name and relevant information on it. Surprisingly, there is no mention of the same for my father who is an accompanying dependent on the original application. My mother was told by the doctors office that a separate IMM1017 will be required for each of them during the medical exam.

We have contacted CIC by mail to get a clarification. In the meanwhile, looking to see if anyone else here has had a similar experience and how did they go about resolving it.

Thank you in advance for your help and/or advise.

I have read about this happening. Sometimes the send at different times. Have your mother complete hers, the doctor office will submit for you, and cic will send for your father when they are ready

Did you get the link for your father? If so, did you do anything different? I am facing the same issue. Any help would be highly appreciated.
