Hi there,
I live in Ab, and my mom in Romania. We decided to apply for an LMIA to bring her here as a nanny for our kiddos.
We started the medical exam prior to applying thinking it will make the process easier.
Anyway after the first set of tests she went back to Romania and received an email from IRCC for further testing. It was discoveres after that she has hepatic cirrohsis ( hep b) . it is not curable but its kept under control with medication and strict diet.
We sent the results back to IRCC and they emailed back for more testing ..which is an xray after 3 months and saliva testing...
Her saliva thing is in process but after just the first sample they discovered Tuberculosis.
She will start treatment immediately of course as per her doctor recommendations.
Now, can someone maybe help me out and tell me what answer i might be looking from the IRCC ? What the outcome may be? If they deem her inadmissable on health grounds... Can we try again after her 6 months of treatment is up? Will she be able to still come as a visitor for 6 months?
Any help and advice and stories are appreciated.
