I am American, married to a Canadian, and I'm here in Canada on a visitor visa. My husband will be sponsoring me. I have everything together for my PR application exept the medical exam, but I'm unsure of a couple of things. It is okay for me to have the exam done here in Canada, even if I will be applying outland, right? Or not? Also, the way I understood it, I am supposed to have the medical exam done BEFORE sending my application. However, on the CIC website, I read the following:
Medical Examination Instructions
Instructions on how to take the medical examination will normally be sent to you after you submit your application to the visa office.
So, now I'm not sure if I send in the application first, THEN get the medical exam done. I thought for sure I had read on this forum that one is supposed to submit all the paperwork at the same time.
Any advice would be appreciated.
