I am applying for a permanent residency via Family (Spousal) Sponsorship. On the CIC website it states that,
Nevertheless, the time to process my application may take longer than 12 months. Does that mean I'd have to take another medical?
Also, my wife and son hold Canadian passports. The CIC website states that,
Does this apply to them, too? It seems excessive to drop $1200 on medical exams when two-thirds of the exams are irrelevant to my health
EDIT: I just found an answer to my second question elsewhere on the CIC website.
CIC said:Your medical exam results are valid for 12 months only. If you do not come to Canada as a permanent resident within that time, you may need to have another exam.
