On Friday we attended the appointment for an ime in Sudbury, Ontario. We paid the fee but were then informed the website was down and they could not process the request for the chest x-ray. They said they would hold onto my husband's passport and let us know when we could pick up the chest x-ray requisition.
They then called us later that day and told us to pick up the passport, and that we would have to come back another day to do the rest of the appointment, as the system would be down until Monday because the team who fixes it is Australian and we're out of office now (noon on Friday)
2 things.
1) we live over 6 hours away. This is a long way to go for this. We've done the blood and physical exam. Do they really need his passport in hand to do the rest? Can the xray be done elsewhere?
2) can they charge us even more to complete this? If they try, can we request a refund?
