What medical conditions can cause a rejection of your application based on medical exam? What is the immigration authority's concern on medical condition of the applicants?
Applications for permanent residence will not be accepted if an applicant’s health:
is a danger to public health or safety, or
would cause excessive demand on health or social services in Canada.
The decision about the health condition of an applicant is made by the DMP during medical examination. That report will be again reviewed by CIC and takes final decision on that medical report. Even if one applicant pass on a medical, the CIC medical team can ask again for a re-medical, when there is some doubt on the previous medical.

I need help. I have mild levoscoliosis but i passed the medical exam by the Canadian embassy in Philippines. Right now I am here in Canada as caregiver. Will my application for permanent resident be refused because I have mild levoscoliosis? I am very worried about this. I hope you can give me advice on this.
