This always chases and horrifies me at times. :-(

I am Hep B carrier but my health condition is normal and no medication needed and never. I have been through medical test for NZ immigration couple years ago and it finally went through there was a lot of hassles e.g. re-doing the test..many tests. I did a quick search on offical CIC website nothing really found related to the topic, though I found some posts here.

If you have been through it personally, would you please let me know the implications of this? With the given condition of my health, Would I pass the medical requirements by the immigration? Appreciate your help and comment.

You obviously didn't enter the correct search terms :D

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/index.asp which links via "List of IMEIs related to conditions of significance:" to things like http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/IMEI_Hepatitis.pdf

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/dmp-handbook/index.asp is also light bed-time reading.

Thanks for the link. but it still does not detail it further regarding in which condition it is rejected or accepted. It is pretty vague and talks only about what to do in such medical condition e.g. PP must be vigilant of such diseases and do series of other tests and grade it as B.

If anyone has gone through such case please share the info. or if you have heard of cases where due to medcial the app. was rejected. Thnx in advance.
