Hi,
I had received my COPR however due to change in marital status before landing my visa is cancelled. CIC asked me to update my wife's details and undergo medical checkup. It's been more than 4 months and I did not receive any updates from CIC after I submitted my wife's documents.
Recently my wife got call from Diagnostic center (approved by CIC) stating that she needs to undergo further medical checkup. However, I did not get any email from CIC nor there is a message in my GC Key account asking for further medical checkup. Now she is diagnosed with Bullae in the lung (breathing risk increases during flight journey at higher altitudes) for which surgical treatment is needed.
The doctor advised that after surgical procedure they can send the medical documents to CIC instead of sending the medical documents now (before treatment) as there are chances that CIC might reject our application.
1. I want to understand, in this case if my wife has medical complications, even husband's PR processing will be rejected?
2. Is it a right way to proceed to submit the medical documents to CIC after surgical procedure, because after surgery the doctors say that risk will be minimised.
3. Or should I submit the medical documents of my wife to CIC now itself (before surgery) in which medical complications are mentioned?
4. We both are interested in going to Canada and cannot loose this opportunity, what's the best way for us to get this resolved and get our PR?
5. Please note I haven't received nay email or message from CIC asking for medical checkup of my wife.
Response to this would be highly appreciated as this is a critical situation for us.
