Medical being sent to Canada from Jamaica

My wife was ask to redo her medical and sent it in April 2012 at KIN, she was told she would have to pay an additional $5000.00 JAM to courier the package back to Canada. They said it doesn't go to Trinidad anymore and would be a shorter process. Has anyone heard of or experienced this?

$5000??? You could send an entire shipping container of furniture to Canada for that price. Something doesn't sound right there

I agree that price sounds absolutly ridiculous!!. $5000 is crazy!. there must be some mistake

5000jam ...thats about 60$ canadian so that sounds about right believe it or not the shipping prices in jamica is ridiculous

I find that request very strange. Was it the DMP that gave her that information? In your shoes, if that information did not come directly from KG, I would confirm it with them myself.
