Medical Assessment

Hello everyone,

We applied for PR under Federal Skilled Workers programme. Our AOR is January 2020 and we passed our medical exams since 05 February 2020.

We just received our GCMS notes mentioning that we will have to do the medical assessment again but we didn't receive any request on our IRCC account.

Anyone faced the same situation? We wish to know whether we should proceed with the medical exam on our own or wait for IRCC's request.

The only downside to getting remedicals done on your own is that they take some time to upload them to your account.. whereas if they send you the request, they upload them within a couple of days n send PPR.. so if you were to get a request from them within the next week or two and you already got them done on your own n send via webform, your file might be delayed.. but if you think there’s a chance that they might not send the remedical request within the next few weeks which is probable, then its better to get them done on your own n send via webform.. so it all comes down to a game of chances

Why to undergo Medical test that you were not instructed to do ?
Sounds triggering or alarming for me for example?
