Hello everyone, just wondering till what stage of pr application does the validity of our medical exam and pcc matter?
After ITA until when? Considering the delays due to covid is it okay for me to do upfront PCC and medical in October when I am confident of getting an ITA in December. Any advice after seeing the current timelines for these and my given situation.
Thanks

- The medical report is valid for 12 months.
- PCCs issued in less than 3 months prior to ITA are acceptable unless it is stated in the PCC letter that it is valid for less than that (some countries mention the validity period).
- It is ok to undergo an upfront medical examination.
- Both the medical report and the PCC letter should be valid at the time of submitting your application.
- After receiving acknowledgment of receipt (AOR), your PCC will be locked and will not expire. They might ask for a fresh PCC later, but you don't need to worry about it.
- After receiving AOR, if your medical expire, IRCC will either extend it for another year or instruct you to undergo another medical examination.
