meaning of passport status

today i saw my passport status says that passport is dispatched from VAC and it may get u within 7 working days.what does this means i didnt get any mail .what i need to do to know my visa has approved or not

When and where u applied?
I think u will get an approval mail within a day or two.. Otherwise u will only know when u got ur passport.
