MBA internship counted in MBA studies or work experience

Can someone tell me whether the internshp period in MBA is counted towards the 2 year study or will it be taken as experience for CEC .

The MBA program I intend to attend has 12 months of study and 8 months of internship .Will this suffice the 2 year requirement of studies.

MBA intership is considered as a part of your MBA program as you must have earned credits for that and without completing your intership, you won't be getting your degree..right...Work experience for CEC applications should be after your MBA when you get your post graduation work permit...I hope it helps..

But I hope the studies is taken as 12+8 = 18 months and not 12 months .
CIC might leave the entire 8 mons of intern out to calculate study period
